What is the bursting strength of 7ply & 9ply corrugated boxes. Size of the box will have impact on bur.strength?

There's more information needed before this can be even roughly estimated. "7 ply" works out to quadruple-wall, which I've only seen in some agricultural totes.


Burst is a function not just of number of "plys" used, but of paper thickness, recycled vs. virgin content, and corrugator consistency. Size of the box has little impact on burst strength, which is why many in the industry specify by either ECT or top-to-bottom compression strength now (as these measures take box size into account).
