Answers

Depends on several things. Is the furniture assembled, partially assembled, or KDF (unassembled)? What method(s) will be used to transport it? What is the cost-benefit ratio when comparing wood crating vs. corrugated designs vs. your damage tolerance on receipt?

I'd consult with a certified lab (and your purchasing folks) to get answers to this.
